Sarvadharinama samvatsra a lunar year starts from 07th April 08 to 26th March 09..This year starts from Ugadi mostly observed in Andhra and Karnataka. There are many more ugadis in our country. But this is confined only to lunar Sarvadhari and past kali 5109.

And enters his Exlated sign Capricorn on 27th January 2009 and continues there till the end of Sarvadhari. The movement of Sun can be had from Local almanacs because he moves every month from one rasi to other entering Mesham(ARIES) on 13th April 08.
The affected rasis are Canacer, Leo and Pisces ieSimham,Katakam and Meena.m due to Saturn and Sagittarius, Capricorn and Taurus.i.e Dhanus, Makaram and Vrushabham for Guru. The Mars is almost traversing throughout the zodiac can be verified by the ephemeris.
